Situs Komik Porno 'Dihabisi', Penggemar Protes
New Delhi - Keberadaan situs cabul membuat pemerintah India khawatir. Karena itulah, sebuah situs komik porno populer di India dihabisi secara diam-diam oleh otoritas setempat. Namun hal itu membuat penggemarnya jadi kecewa berat dan menggalang kampanye protes.
Dikutip detikINET dari HindustanTimes, Jumat (3/6/2009), Depertemen Telekomunikasi India telah meminta para penyedia layanan internet memblokir akses terhadap situs kartun mesum itu.
Situs bersangkutan selama ini menyediakan konten komik cabul yang amat digilai penduduk setempat. Sekitar 60 juta pengguna internet tercatat mengunjungi situs tersebut tiap bulannya.
Namun pemerintah mengambil tindakan tegas dengan memblokir akses situs tanpa pemberitahuan sebelumnya. Pasalnya, keberadaan situs dinilai memberi pengaruh negatif pada kaum muda di India.

Pornografi Anak di iPhone Pusingkan Apple
California - Apple kembali dipusingkan dengan kontroversi soal aplikasi iPhone berbau cabul. Kabar terbaru, mereka harus disibukkan dengan sebuah aplikasi di iPhone yang dilaporkan mengandung konten terlarang, yakni pornografi anak.Aplikasi bernama BeutyMeter tersebut memungkinkan user melakukan upload foto diri sendiri. Foto yang di-upload kemudian dapat diberi rating oleh pemakai iPhone yang lain.
Nah ternyata, aplikasi tersebut dimanfaatkan para pengguna di bawah umur untuk berbuat cabul. Sebagai buktinya seperti dilansir Neowin dan dikutip detikINET, Kamis (2/7/2009), ada sebuah foto menampilkan pose hampir bugil seorang gadis yang masih berusia 15 tahun.
Sebanyak 5000 user diketahui berlomba mengakses dan merating foto mesum itu. Sesudah mengetahui kejadian tersebut, pihak Apple menghapus aplikasi dimaksud dari AppStore untuk mencegah dampak negatif yang lebih luas.
Apple memang sudah sering melakukan langkah semacam itu jika ada aplikasi yang dinilai melanggar peraturan.
Belum lama ini, Apple juga sempat dipusingkan dengan aplikasi porno bernama HottestGirl yang mengundang banyak protes. Perusahaan yang didirikan Steve Jobs pun akhirnya mendepak aplikasi tersebut dari AppStore.

Quick Count Pilpres, LSI Tolak Pendanaan dari Pasangan Calon
Setelah mendapat kritikan dari sejumlah kalangan masyarakat, Lembaga Survei Indonesia (LSI) akhirnya memutuskan untuk melakukan survei secara mandiri tanpa bantuan dana dari tim sukses calon presiden. Utamanya, untuk melakukan quick count atau hitung cepat dan exit poll (survei pada pemilih yang baru keluar TPS) pada Pemilihan Presiden 8 Juli mendatang."LSI memutuskan untuk mengembalikan dana dari Fox Indonesia yang awalnya dialokasikan untuk quick count dan exit poll pada Pilpres nanti," ujar Manager Public Affairs LSI, Burhanuddin Muhtadi dalam rilis yang diterima detikcom, Rabu (1/7/2009).
Menurut Muhtadi, keputusan ini diambil LSI untuk memberikan jaminan kepada masyarakat mengenai integritas hasil survei atau hitung cepat yang pihaknya lakukan pada hari H Pemilihan nanti.
"LSI menyimpulkan sebagian masyarakat belum bisa menerima konsep profesionalitas meski disokong dana oleh tim kampanye calon presiden tertentu," ungkapnya.
Muhtadi menjelaskan, Pilpres mendatang adalah proses penting dalam perjalanan demokrasi Indonesia sebagai bangsa. Karenanya, jangan sampai Pilpres mendatang mengalami deligitimasi publik.
"Untuk itu, LSI ingin meminimalisir keraguan di masyarakat, caranya dengan memakai uang sendiri untuk melakukan hitung cepat," pungkasnya

Video Mesum Pelajar Gegerkan Kolaka
Warga Kabupaten Kolaka, Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) khususnya kalangan pelajar Sabtu (27/6) dibuat geger karena tersebarnya sebuah rekaman video mesum. Video amatir yang diduga diambil dari sebuah telepon genggam itu menggambarkan dua orang pelajar berpakaian sekolah berbuat mesum di sebuah kamar. Mereka melakukan hubungan intim layaknya pasangan suami istri dalam video berdurasi sekitar enam menit.
Seorang siswi yang beradegan mesum dalam rekaman tersebut diduga merupakan pelajar dari Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 1 Kolaka, Sultra. Namun, Kepala Sekolah SMK Negeri 1 Kolaka Mading Jakobus, menyangkal jika perempuan yang berada dalam rekaman video tersebut adalah siswinya. Meski begitu, ia mengaku pelaku memang menggunakan seragam SMKN 1 Kolaka. Bahkan, Mading berjanji jika pelaku dalam rekaman video tersebut terbukti adalah siswinya, maka ia akan mengambil tindakan tegas.
