Jenazah Jacko 'Dipamerkan' di Neverland
Baru sehari lalu beredar kabar kalau almarhum penyanyi Michael Jackson akan disemayamkan di Neverland. Di sana para penggemarnya diizinkan melihat dan memberikan penghormatan terakhir. Namun kini, keluarga membantah Jacko akan dipamerkan di Neverland."Membantah berita yang sebelumnya beredar, keluarga Jackson secara tegas mengatakan pemakaman tidak akan dibuka untuk umum di Neverland," tulis Ken Sushine juru bicara keluarga Jacko melalui email yang dikirimkannya ke sejumlah media, detikhot kutip dari TMZ, Kamis (2/7/2009).
Ditambahkan Sushine, sampai saat ini keluarga masih mematangkan rencana pemakaman Jacko. "Akan diumumkan dalam waktu dekat," tulisnya lagi.
Dalam surat wasiatnya, pelantun 'Thriller' itu memang tidak menyebutkan di mana dia ingin dikubur jika meninggal. Selain Neverland, spekulasi yang beredar, Jacko akan dimakamkan di kawasan Los Angeles.
